Tanya Hope's next is on highway bandits
Actress Tanya Hope is all kicked about stepping into a new role for the Stalin's film
Tanya Hope keeps surprising her audiences by picking roles that are distinctly different from one another. After playing a biker girl in her upcoming flick Idhe Maa Katha, Tanya is set to take up Jaguar, a film based on highway bandits.
While she refuses to comment on her role in the film, she gives us an insight into the film as such. “The film involves highway bandits and extensive travelling; technically, it’s a road film. I portray an intense kickass character, which I immediately agreed to do when I heard the script,” says Tanya.
The Paper Boy actress goes on to tell us that she’d soon commence workshops for her character in Jaguar, which is a Telugu–Tamil bilingual to be shot on the highways of Goa, Chennai, Delhi and Hyderabad.
“I need a lot of preparation in terms of getting the swag, body language and a certain type of diction of the character I play right,” she states.
In the meanwhile, Tanya is fast wrapping up the shoot of another of her bilingual thriller–drama titled Kulasamy. Giving a peek into the film being directed by Saravana Sakthi, the Disco Raja star says, “The film is about a prostitution racket in a medical college, which shocks the students there and they start protesting, and I lead the revolt.”
A life full of learning
Tanya, who believes in doing interesting roles in multiple languages so it lends diversity to her career graph, will soon commence shooting for her Kannada film, Bell Bottom 2, the sequel to the 2019-Kannada film Bell Bottom.
“The beauty of working in various industries is that it gives a sneak peek and a sense of understanding over the culture and practices,” she elaborates. “I believe working in multiple industries will only drive us to push the envelope of acting.”
