Director Boyapati tries a new approach

Director Boyapati is mostly known for his angry protagonists and action-based first looks. But now, he is trying a different approach with his upcoming film Jaya Janaki Nayaka. 

The first look of this film, starring Srinivas, Rakul Preet Singh and Pragya Jaiswal, was released on Friday morning. And as evident from the film’s title, it followed a ‘soft’ approach. 

Most of Boyapati’s earlier films were action-based. This time, the director seems to have tried his hands at an emotional drama. “Boyapati wants to woo family audiences as he missed them with his earlier films,” says a source. 

The film is already doing good business with key areas like Nizam and Uttarandhra selling out for a high price.
