Prudhvi's son clarifies dispute

Actor Prudhvi Raj has been in the news recently due to a family dispute. A Vijayawada family court has ordered him to pay Rs 8 lakh to his wife Srilakshmi every month. However, the actor, who is shooting abroad, couldn’t comment on the dispute and instead, a video of his son issuing a clarification was posted on his social media page.

Speaking in the video, the actor’s son says, “My mother is very innocent. Somebody is brainwashing her. That’s the only reason she went to court.”

He added that this was just a regular difference of opinion between wife and husband. “This dispute has gone beyond limits and my father never expected it. I am a regular software employee and if I am upset, it won’t effect my work. But he has to face the camera, and expression is his world. So, I appeal to everyone to stop writing baseless things about him. He will explain his side of the story when he is back to India,” he assured.

Prudhvi married Srilakshmi in 1984 and they have a son and a daughter. “This is to all the people out there, my son has clarified on our family matters! Case court lo vundi dayachesi inka emi adagakandi,” posted Prudhvi as he shared the video.
