Aditi Arya challenges herself

Actress Aditi Arya will soon be seen playing the role of a software engineer who is speech and hearing impaired in romantic thriller 7, directed by Nizar Shafi. The plot revolves around her character and her relationship with her love interest Havish.

Aditi’s character has been meticulously etched by director Nizar Shafi. “Aditi’s looks and gestures complement her role aptly,” says Nizar. Apparently, the actress initially refused to play the part since it was a first-of-its-kind role for her.

“We actually approached Aditi for another role, but later felt that her looks and body language would complement this role better.  We soon convinced her to play the part, and she accepted the offer. Now she’s all gung-ho about the role,” says the director.

Aditi prepared for her role by watching videos of people to get into the character. “She even met people with such disabilities in Mumbai to ensure that she would get her gestures and behaviour right,” adds Nizar.
