Ram Charan and Merlapaka Gandhi to team up?

Express Raja director Merlapaka Gandhi has been in talks with Ram Charan for a while now. Apparently, the two have been discussing story ideas with the possibility of teaming up. Now, it turns out that something has worked out for them and if all goes well, they’ll be joining hands soon.

“Gandhi had earlier written a love story which Charan really liked. But now, they are pursuing another storyline which will have an interesting love angle too,” shares a source.

Apparently it was actor Sharwanand — a good friend of Ram Charan — who put them in touch with each other and the duo have taken it forward from there. If things work out, this project could be Ram Charan’s next film after his current project with Sukumar.
