Shooting of Jawaan begins

Sai Dharam Tej has started shooting for his next movie, Jawaan, directed by B.V.S. Ravi a couple of days ago. Though the film was majorly delayed, once the shooting began, it put a stop to all the rumours about the project. The film, produced jointly by Harish Shankar and Krishna, has Mehreen as the female lead.

“The shoot was to start last year, but got delayed, though it was officially launched a while back. So people have been doubtful about the film,” says a source. To end all rumours, the director officially posted the news on Twitter. B.V.S. Ravi, known as a writer, made his debut as a director with Wanted, which unfortunately bombed at the box-office. With Jawaan, he gets yet another chance to prove his mettle. The makers have already clarified that the film does not have a military backdrop, but is a family drama.
