I owe a lot to my fans: Actress Samantha
Samantha credits the makers and co-stars of her upcoming film for bringing out the best in her.
Actress Samantha is currently busy with promotions of female-centric film, Oh Baby that is all set to release this Friday. Praising her director Nandini Reddy, she says, “Nandini is like my elder sister and I believe her 100 per cent. You can see it in my performance and in the film too.” At the pre-release event (attended by Venkatesh and Rana) recently, Samantha spoke highly about her comic drama.
“This is my best role till now although it was very challenging for me,” says the actress, who adds that it is not easy to do female-oriented films. “But the producers believed in me and made this film. I owe a lot to my fans and I stand here today because of them. They gave me the best films of my career and I am confident that this too will become a huge success,” says Samantha.
Suresh Babu is producing this film along with Sunitha Thati and Vivek. “I felt happy when Suresh Babu said that this was the first time a girl from the Rama Naidu family is doing films. So I worked really hard,” says Samantha, who acknowledges the presence of senior actor Rajendra Prasad in the film. “I learnt comic timing from Rajendra Prasad garu and it really came in handy. Also, Naga Shaurya’s role is going to be the highlight of the film, and I thank him for signing up," says the actress.
