Ram Charan’s in a fix!
While the actor is ready to help the true claimants financially, there is no clarity in the matter yet.
Chiranjeevi’s son, actor Ram Charan, who is also the producer of upcoming period film Sye Raa, is in a dilemma. Nearly hundred villagers have come forward claiming to be the successors of freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy, on whom the film is based.
While the actor is ready to help the true claimants financially, there is no clarity in the matter yet. “The problem is that there are about 100 people who are claiming to be the successors. They are also fighting internally and the matter is in court. We can listen to them, but can’t decide anything yet,” says a source close to the actor, who is reportedly keen on getting to the root of the matter.
Apparently, the freedom fighter had three wives back in 1947, giving rise to nearly a 100 successors over generations. “A group of five or six people asking for money might trigger utter chaos with the rest too, so Ram Charan is thinking about it,” adds the source. Apart from an entire village claiming to be the great freedom fighter’s successors, what complicates matters further is that it is believed that he was adopted by someone else, although it is not documented anywhere.
