Nandini Rai in a female-centric drama
The actress is on the anvil of getting into National-Award winning director Satish Vegesna’s film
If all goes well, actress Nandini Rai is set to be part of an interesting female-centric drama to be directed by National-Award winning director Satish Vegesna. “I found the script exciting and thought my role was etched beautifully. The discussions and a few modalities are currently being worked out although I am yet to sign in on the dotted lines,” says the actress excitedly.
While the lockdown has sent many into tizzy due to lack of work, for Nandini, things went the opposite way. “I have signed on five OTT projects from top production houses and have started shooting for them. I am glad that my life after the lockdown has been busy,” she explains. Incidentally, Nandini, who has also signed another film, Aadya, starring Renu Desai, and to be directed by M. R. Krishna Mamidala, is also prepping for her Bollywood debut, which will be directed by Hussain.
The actress will play a politician in the political thriller. “I have been watching videos of Indira Gandhiji and other politicians and observing their body language during their speeches.”
