Exclusive: Srikanth to sign film with Balakrishna; will play the antagonist

Mumbai: Just like Jagapathi Babu’s career saw a new trajectory post 'Legend,' it’s possible that Srikanth could also get a new lease of life with his upcoming films.

While his role in 'Sarrainodu' was appreciated, everyone felt his potential wasn’t completely explored. He’s got Naga Chaitanya’s next in the pipeline, where he’s said to have a very interesting role, but the other buzz is that he will be signing director K.S. Ravikumar’s next with Balakrishna.

The film is the Nandamuri scion’s 102nd film.

“Srikanth would be playing a villain in the film. His role is going to be quite elaborate and he will lock horns with Balakrishna. The director has planned something very refreshing and unexpected for the actor,” reveals a source in the know.
