It’s not only Hrithik Roshan who is playing a visually challenged character in his next, Kaabil. Even in Tollywood, such characters are the new trend. In fact, actor Raj Tarun and director Veligonda Srinivas’ upcoming project is titled Andhagadu (visually challenged person). Raj Tarun will play the visually challenged person  while actor Ravi Teja is playing a similar role in his upcoming film with director Anil Ravipudi.

“Ravi Teja chose this script after going through many stories and directors. He liked the subject and the shooting will start soon,” says a source. Even in the Malayalam film industry, this trait has been made successful by Mohanlal. The crime thriller Oppam, releasing in Telugu as Kanupapa, was a big hit in Mollywood.
