Sharwanand and Prakash Kovelamudi team up
The film is touted to be a romantic entertainer and will be bankrolled by producers of Baahubali.
With work on Baahubali set to end soon, producers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are seemingly moving on. They are set to bankroll a new film with actor Sharwanand in the lead to be directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, son of legendary Telugu filmmaker, K. Raghavendra Rao. We hear a romantic entertainer is on the cards to be produced under the ARKA Media banner.
“Discussions have been on for a while, and things have become clear only recently. The pre-production is on, and the film will go on floors soon after that,” reveals a source in the know. Sharwanand is presently on a signing spree, and this is one of the series of projects he has okayed in recent times. He’s already shooting for his next with director Maruthi, while Radha, co-starring Lavanya Tripathi, is set for a summer release. Also, it is learnt that Sharwanand’s stakes have gone up with back-to-back hits, and he has increased his remuneration too. But it looks like the makers have no qualms about it as he is one of the most bankable actors today.
