Naga Chaitanya's Tamil debut cancelled
Naragasooran is jointly co-produced by Gautham Menon.
Earlier, it was announced that actor Naga Chaitanya will be making his Tamil debut with the movie Naragasooran. However, Chay has opted out of the project citing date clashes. “The film’s script will revolve around four characters. Since Chaitanya had other commitments, he had to back off from the film. Currently, the makers are looking for a replacement. After we find another actor, the first-look poster of the movie will be released,” says a source.
The characterisation of the lead roles is gripping. “Each of them would have equal weightage in the movie and it is a performance-oriented role for everyone,” the source quips. Actress Shriya Saran will also be a part of the project and will be seen portraying a pivotal character.
Naragasooran is jointly co-produced by Gautham Menon. In a tweet, Karthick Naren, the director of the film, said, “The film is the second instalment of the thriller trilogy, which I would like to make and it belongs to the same universe of my debut project Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru (sic).”
