Vishwak Sen tenders apology
The Falaknuma Das actor landed himself in a controversy after cursing on his Instagram account.
Young actor and director Vishwak Sen’s recent remarks on his Instagram account set off quite a flurry. With his film Falaknuma Das out in theatres this Friday, the actor was on a promotional tour to Andhra following which he put up a controversial video in which he used a curse word, and added that he would ‘deal’ with those people individually once he returned to Hyderabad.
However, the actor alleges that some people are working against him and removing his film posters from many places. “I did not say anything about the critics, audience or any particular person,” he clarifies, adding that he does not know the identity of those working against him.
“Some people are deliberately spreading negativity about my film and I put up that video for those people. Even I don’t know who they are,” insists Vishwak.
Meanwhile, some sections of the media reported that he spoke out against actor Vijay Devarakonda and his fans. Dismissing the reports, Vishwak says, “I am not a person to gain publicity from cheap comments against a person or an actor. I believe in my talent and made a film with the help of my family and friends.”
Apologising for using foul language on his Insta account, the actor adds, “I am very sorry for using that curse word on my Instagram. I didn’t challenge anyone and I know what I am talking about.”
On a positive note, Vishwak says that his film is doing very well. “My film is the best grosser in all the films that released this week. The collections are still very strong and I am confident that it will continue for many more days,” he says.
