Young actor Aadi Sai Kumar is coming up with Burrakatha after a two-year gap. The actor didn’t get a break after his film Lovely which released nearly five years ago. Now, the actor hopes that he will get the much-needed break with this film.

“I didn’t take the gap as planned or deliberately. Some of my films didn’t do well, so I decided to concentrate on the script and at that time Ratna Babu came with this story. It’s an interesting plot and I liked it,” says Aadi about his latest film.

Despite the dip, the actor says he didn’t want to do negative roles or go to Kannada films. “Yes, my father Sai Kumar is a popular actor in Kannada, but I don’t want to do Kannada films right now. I want to taste success here first and then think about Kannada films,” clarifies Aadi.

As for Burrakatha, the actor is clearly excited at its scope. “I read an article about a person born with two brains, and this film’s story is based on that. Director Ratna Babu has used a hilarious approach to the plot, and I play Abhi and Ram. Rajendra Prasad plays a major part in it, and I am confident that the film is going to entertain everyone,” adds Aadi.

The actor, who says he’s ready to do a multi-starrer if the right story comes to him, appears to have no regrets. “I never feel that I should do a particular project. I simply go with the flow and follow my instincts. Some of the projects I didn’t do are big hits and some of them have flopped,” says the actor, signing off.
