Actor Chiranjeevi is leaving no stone unturned in preparing to play Narasimha Reddy in his upcoming film Sye Raa. We hear that the megastar is especially keen on making the war sequences look realistic, and so he recently dropped in at the Gagan Narang Shooting Academy in Gachibowli to learn how to shoot from the best in the business.

After showing him around his world-class shooting and training facility, Gagan, a bronze medal winner at the 2012 London Olympics, spent over an hour helping the actor understand the basics and the nuances of shooting.

Says a source in the know, “Their first session at academy lasted for over an hour. Gagan helped Chiranjeevi understand the fundamentals and some tricks of shooting. Chiranjeevi was also trained in shooting techniques for air pistols and rifles. They also educated him in breathing and aiming techniques.”

The comprehensive training session gave the actor some first-hand insight into the correct techniques. He can now continue to practice at a shooting range. “Chiru was given an introduction to the sport. But we don’t know yet when the next session will be held,” the source adds. After their training session, Chiru and Gagan are also believed to have spent some time discussing films and society.
