Ravi Awana will play the main bad boy in Nani’s upcoming film, Krishnarjuna Yuddam, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. The model-turned-actor shares, “I am from Noida, but moved to Mumbai to make a career in films. After doing a few commercials, I landed in the South. I debuted in Telugu with Puri Jagannadh’s Ism, but this will be my first big break as a main villain.”

The actor plays a gangster in the breezy entertainer. He adds, “I play a human trafficker who is from Mumbai and networks with other cities. I will eventually be forced to come to Hyderabad in the story. It’s a different role; it’s not loud but very well-established. The role is also high on drama and emotions and as such, the focus is more on acting.”

Interestingly, to make his character look original and authentic, Ravi is also dubbing for his Telugu lines in the film. “It was the director’s idea; since I speak a lot of Hindi lines in the film, the director felt my voice to be suitable for the character,” he shares.
