Bellamkonda's office seized!
Producer in big trouble after a bank takes action following delay in repayment of loan.
Prominent film producer Bellamkonda Suresh is in trouble after his office was seized on Thursday following a failure to repay a huge loan taken from a private bank.
As part of recovering the loan money, the bank has seized his office. The bank had officially written him a number of times to which he didn’t respond properly, it is believed.
It has been widely reported that the producer has been debt-ridden for the past few years following the dismal performances of some his films at the box-office. The producer’s troubles started with Jabardasth (2013), followed by the high-budget Rabhasa with Jr NTR — which was a huge loss. He then introduced his son Srinivas with Alludu Seenu, into which he put in a lot of money. V.V. Vinayak directed the movie and it became a success, but the producer didn’t get much of a profit on it. In between, he also brought the Telugu distribution rights of a few Tamil films, but after those films flopped too.
His son’s latest film Speedunnodu also failed at the BO. Though it was produced by Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao, rumours claim Bellamkonda financed this movie too.
