Isha Talwar relocates to Kerala
The actress wishes to focus solely on Malayalam films for some time.
Having spent more than six years working in the South Indian film industry, Mumbai-based actress Isha Talwar has now decided to shift base to Kerala. The actress says that she wants to do more films down South, and Malayalam films specifically.
“I have been working on Malayalam films for over six years now. I have learnt the language and the kind of roles I get here are very special. They are realistic, natural and have great scope for exhibiting my acting chops,” shares Isha, adding, “I know every nook and corner of Kerala. I have been travelling extensively for film shootings, retail launches, etc, and have spent considerable time with the people here. I also relish the culture and the food in Kerala, so wanted to move here.”
The actress goes on to say, “I have learnt a lot by working in South Indian films. I understand that Mollywood is a performance-oriented industry, so when I read the script, I found it rather engaging. I thus decided that this was the industry I wanted to work in for a while. Although I am still exploring some characters, I can discover the real me in the process. The thing I love about the Mollywood is that it gives you the space to experiment.”
