Silly row over Rajadhi Raja

Recently, Tamil director-producer Cheran had unleashed allegations against actor Sharwanand for not cooperating with the promotion of his bilingual film Rajadhi Raja. The movie, starring Sharwanand and Nithya Menen, was supposed to hit the screens a few years ago and it even saw a DVD release in Tamil. Regarding the charges, a source close to Sharwanand says, “The film was directly released in DVD in Tamil and there is no point in promoting the Telugu version (which released recently). Moreover, Sharwanand dubbed for his part despite not being paid the full remuneration. The producer wants to use the stardom of the actor.”

It seems he is right. Cheran must be relying on some controversy for the movie’s publicity!
