I am choosy about scripts says actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas
Bellamkonda Sreenivas reflects on his journey in Tollywood
It’s been six years since Sreenivas Bellamkonda entered the industry with Allu Seenu in 2014. Reflecting on his career, the actor describes his journey so far as “very interesting.”
“I have seen ups and downs, success and failures, but I have realised that you can never go wrong with content,” he shares, adding that the learning curve was more when it came to failures.
“Success taught me nothing, literally. But failures have made me more cautious when it comes to the script,” he says, adding that he was never disheartened by failures.
“Being a newcomer, it wasn’t easy for me initially, but my father (producer Bellamkonda Suresh) asked me to keep working hard and assured me that success would eventually follow. I think my recent hit Rakshasudu is a classic example,” says the Saakshyam star.
In six years, the actor has acted in only eight films, but Sreenivas says he has no regrets. “I have taken a conscious decision to go slow with signing films; I do not over-experiment either. I try to pick unique scripts from the ones that are offered to me,” the actor reveals.
Sreenivas is a self-confessed ‘fitness freak’. “But during this lockdown I have been binging on all types of dishes my brother (Ganesh) has been making,” he laughs, adding that he loves adventure sports too.
