Aditi Rao Hydari set for Tollywood debut

The Telugu audience might have seen Aditi Rao Hydari for the first time in Mani Ratnam’s Cheliyaa, but it seems they are set to get a bigger dose of her this time around as she stars in a straight Telugu film with Sudheer Babu, to be directed by Indraganti Mohan Krishna. The film will be a production of Sivalenka Krishna Prasad. Incidentally, despite being from Hyderabad, Aditi has never been seen in a Telugu movie earlier, making this her debut flick.

“When Indraganti was conceiving a romance drama with Sudheer Babu, he considered quite a few names before zeroing in on Aditi, who he felt would not just be a value addition but would also add an element of freshness. Impressed by the script, the actress immediately gave a go ahead. A few formalities are to be completed before making an official announcement,” shares a source. Meanwhile, Aditi is busy with her Hindi films Aur Devdas and Padmavati, but she’s seemingly excited about making her Tollywood debut.
