Nandamuri Balakrishna discharged after surgery
Actor-politician had been in pain since the last few months, following which he decided to get operated at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
Nandamuri Balakrishna, who underwent a major shoulder surgery a couple of days ago, is in good shape. The actor-politician had been in pain since the last few months, following which he decided to get operated at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
According to a press release, “It was a one-and-a-half hour long operation held on Saturday and it was successful. The hospital administration kept the actor under observation on Sunday as well and on he was discharged on Monday morning.”
The surgery was done to repair the rotator cuff muscle on Balayya’s right shoulder. The actor was also advised to rest for a month to six weeks. He may visit the hospital next week for a regular check-up.
Luckily for Balakrishna, there is no shoot scheduled till March. Until then, the actor can recuperate from the surgery and perhaps participate in the production discussions of his late father NTR’s eponymous biopic, in which Balayya plays the lead role.
