Feel glad when filmmakers notice versatility'
A zoom into Rashi Singh’s filmography we can understand that her career graph has been on a high. After having been part of a handful of films the actress is all set for her upcoming film, Prem Kumar. The Abhishek Maharshi directorial, pro- duced by Shiva Prasad Panneeru, is tipped to be a fun entertainer. “The film is about a guy (Prem Kumar) who faces obstacles whenever he wanted to get married. I play a wedding planner named Netra. There are two more important characters in the film — Angana (played by Ruchitha Sadineni) and Roshan (film star). How our lives change is funnily chronicled,” shares Rashi.
The actress is glad at the way her career has been progressing. She is getting opportunities to work in diverse genres at an early stage. “I feel that’s an achieve- ment,” she comments.
Rashi, whose upcoming films include Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana and Papam Pasivadu, is also ecstatic to headline a female-centric film alongside actress Anandi. “It’s challenging to do female-centric films, but that’s the opportunity we would like to embrace. Also, directors asked me to be myself and spontaneous. I think that helped me in giving my best shot.” According to her, working in various genre films is liberating. “I feel glad when filmmakers notice versatility and cast you for the part, that’s been something I am constantly working on and not get typecast,” she asserts
