Sunitha threatened to kill herself: Bunny Vasu
Vehemently denying that he had cheated her, Vasu further stated that he had never promised her any roles.
Producer Bunny Vasu, who is presently abroad, hunting for shoot locations for his upcoming film, posted a video to clarify junior artiste Sunitha Boya’s recent accusations.
“Sunitha told us that she worked for the Jana Sena Party, and asked us to give her a few roles. So we referred her to some of our friends. However, there is a certain process involved and she has to go through an audition,” he said, adding that he only suggested her name because she claimed to be a big Mega fan.
However, he came down heavily on her approach. “She came to our office at night and shouted in front of our gate, which is not good. We were all worried about her aggressive behaviour and what she would do next,” said Bunny Vasu, who added, “One day, she suddenly entered our office kitchen, grabbed a knife and threatened to kill herself! Since she is a woman, we could not handle her, so we called the police, who came along with a counsellor. We did not book any case against her at that time, but her abnormal behaviour really scared everyone and affected her chances of getting film opportunities.”
As for Sunitha’s act of leaving her father at the office gate, Bunny Vasu said, “We took care of him, sent him to Anantapur and even told our friends to look after him.”
Vehemently denying that he had cheated her, Vasu further stated that he had never promised her any roles. “There is a process and she has to go through it,” he reiterated.
