However, Meher’s name was not on the list of people who were going to meet with Bharathi
Recently, Namrata Shirodkar, the wife of superstar Mahesh Babu met Y.S. Bharathi, wife of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to discuss the development of Burripalem village in Andhra Pradesh. Among the people accompanying Namrata was director Meher Ramesh, who is a regular part of Mahesh Babu’s team. “However, Meher’s name was not on the list of people who were going to meet with Bharathi, so the security didn’t allow him to go inside. That’s when he created a big scene outside the gates, loudly proclaiming that he knew some top political leaders in Andhra and Telangana. But the security remained unfazed and did not allow him inside,” says a source from Vijayawada.
As to why Meher Ramesh enjoys such a privileged position in Mahesh Babu’s team and accompanies Namrata wherever she goes, the source explains, “She needs a good translator because she is not well-versed in Telugu, so whenever she has a doubt, she asks Meher.”
