Udaipur was Niharika-Chaitanya’s choice!
The decision to finalise the venue for the destination wedding was a unanimous choice
The preparation for the wedding of Niharika Konidela (Chiranjeevi’s niece) with J.V. Chaitanya Jonnalagadda, are going on in full swing.
The date and venue (December 9, The Oberoi Udaivilas Palace, Udaipur) have been confirmed, and invitations have already been sent out.
“My wife (Padmaja) has been overseeing most of the wedding arrangements,” explains Niharika’s father Naga Babu. His son Varun is also involved in the planning.
Udaipur was Niharika’s and Chaitanya’s choice for the destination wedding.
Apparently Niharika had been to Udaipur with friends a few years ago. She was so fascinated with the picturesque locations that she decided to have a destination wedding there.
“Niharika, Chaitanya and Varun together have decided the destination wedding after several deliberations,” shares Naga Babu.
The wedding is most likely to be only a family affair, with a few friends and well-wishers attending too.
“Considering the current scenario, it will be difficult to have a large gathering. Everyone will be tested for the Novel Coronavirus before the marriage,” adds Naga Babu, revealing that he is proud of his son Varun, who had turned wedding planner for the event.
“I am glad that Varun has taken up the responsibility and has been taking care of all the wedding arrangements. He recently celerbrated my birthday grandly too. He has his knack of planning and organising events efficiently, so, that quality of his has worked big time for me (smiles). He loves his little sister so much that he wanted to give it everything for her Big day. So I took a back seat,” shares the father, adding Niharika and Chaitanya too are caught up with work regarding their own wedding outfits, concepts, haldi, mehendi, sangeets, etc.
While the wedding ceremony will be conducted Telugu style, Varun and his cousins (Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Sai Dharam Tej) have planned a surprise gift for soon-to-be-bride.
The entire family is looking forward to the big day.
“It would certainly be an emotional and special moment, so we all want to make the most of it and celebrate. We shall get to the venue a week before and check out all the arrangements regarding the floral decorations of mandap and the venue,” he adds.
Niharika and Chaitanya were engaged in August at an intimate ceremony in Hyderabad.
