Megastar Chiranjeevi heaped praises on Keerthy Suresh and claimed that he could be romancing her in his next film. “She is playing my sister in this movie, but tomorrow she could play my love interest,” said the actor and added, “I couldn’t tolerate a gorgeous girl like Keerthy calling me brother. I told her not to carry this ‘brother feeling’ bit too long since it was just for this one film. I wouldn’t want miss romancing her on-screen in my next film wherein she has to express different feelings. Honestly, I am truly impressed with her amazing body of work.”

The 60-year-old actor was speaking at the pre-release event of his upcoming film ‘Bholaa Shankar. “There is nothing wrong in doing remakes if the content is really good. I am doing the remake of Vedhalam impressed by its story and also it hasn’t been released on OTT platforms. I did Malayalam remake ‘Godfather’ and now doing this, to bring to Telugu audience something new,” he informed.

Addressing his fans, Chiru said that he was always conscious about his behavior in public and private to make his fan following happy. “I wanted them to be proud of me, so I was always careful with my words and deeds. I have reached this position because of their unprecedented love and feel very happy when they address me as ‘Annayya” (brother) wholeheartedly,” he added.

Talking about his brother and superstar Pawan Kalyan, he said, “What Pawan Kalyan said about the industry is right. It is for one and all and doesn’t belong to one family or another. I heard that many actors donned grease paint inspired by my huge success. I think they believed that if a normal-looking person like me hailing from a lower middle-class family could achieve success, they can too,” he points out.

Looking at teenage boys and girls in the crowd, Chiru, “I am very very happy as I am able to connect with the new-generation audience too,” he concludes.
