A comic thriller for Deepti Sati

After playing a college-goer in her Tollywood debut Jaguar, Deepti Sati has now signed her next. The Mumbai-actress will be seen in a comic thriller to be directed by debutant Rajesh. Apparently, the film will be a female-centric drama with Deepti as the central character.

“The genre (thriller) is new to me, so I was excited to be part of the project. The film is indeed a new approach and a different take on comic thrillers. I believe the interesting script and gripping narration will strike a chord with the audience,” shares the actress.

Talking about her role, Deepti says, “I can’t reveal much, but I have a strong role. I play an independent girl who has her own views. I was fascinated with the way my role was etched; it’s a mature character. Since the script is also high on comedy, the role gives an opportunity to improve my comic timing too.”Deepti, who is currently working for Mammootty’s family drama, will commence shooting for her comic thriller next month.
