Is Nagarjuna miffed with Trivikram?
The actor seems unwilling to give credit to the writer-turned-director during the ongoing promotions of his upcoming film.
While it’s now apparent that Nagarjuna and director Trivikram Srinivas have had some serious differences, it’s unclear as to what exactly went wrong between the two.
At the pre-release event of his upcoming film, Manmadhudu 2, Nagarjuna gave full credit to director Vijay Bhaskar for his earlier film Manmadhudu without even mentioning Trivikram Srinivas, who had written the memorable dialogues for the film.
Once again, while promoting Manmadhudu 2 to the media on Wednesday, Nag held a similar stand. When someone pointed out that Trivikram deserved credit as the dialogue writer, the actor feigned ignorance and curtly said, “Vijay Bhaskar narrated the story to me and I travelled with him,” before asking to move on to the next question.
Sources say the two had a fallout after Nagarjuna asked Trivikram to direct his son Akhil. “Nagarjuna asked Trivikram to direct Akhil recently, but the latter didn’t respond. So Nag is angry with him,” says the source.
