Catherine wants to be a versatile actor
The Goutham Nanda star says that her role is paramount, regardless of whether she is the first or second lead in a film.
Catherine Tresa is known to be extremely choosy about her film scripts, which is why she is not seen in too many films. However, the actress will soon play a teacher in her upcoming film with Siddharth titled Vadaladu, a film she describes as a thriller with a social message.
“The film talks about how food adulteration is a leading cause of cancer in our country and the fact that there are no laws to control it,” says Catherine, who reveals that Siddharth is playing a Food Control officer in the film. Describing her co-star as “a socially responsible person,” the actress adds, “Whenever something happens in India, he always reacts on social media.”
Explaining why she is not doing too many films in Telugu, the actress says, “I want to do different kinds of roles and work on good scripts because doing the same kind of roles is boring — both for me and the audience.”
The Goutham Nanda star says that her role is paramount, regardless of whether she is the first or second lead in a film. “I look at my role and how important it is for the film. For instance, my role in Sarrainodu was very much appreciated,” she says, adding that she doesn’t have any dream role. “I want to be a versatile actor and do different kinds of roles,” she states.
