Nikhil Siddhartha is on a high, with his latest release Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada running steady in theatres in its third week. Even as the Ram Charan-starrer Dhruva is all set to release, Nikhil’s film seems like it will still be able to hold its ground. The latest news is that, the filmmakers have received several requests for the remake rights from other industries with offers of around '80 lakh being made.

“While popular Tamil music producer and actor G.V. Prakash has offered a big sum and is keen on buying the film’s Tamil remake rights, other people are interested too. Negotiations are on and the team in Hyderabad is trying to get a higher price. A similar offer has been made from the Kannada industry as well. A decision will be taken soon,” shares a source from the film’s unit.

The film has exceeded expectations and will easily make around Rs 24 crore with the theatre run, satellite rights and remake rights. Directed by V.I. Anand, the film is a thriller with supernatural elements and comedy interspersed.
