Kovelamudi Prakash makes a comeback after 14 years

Director Kovelamudi Prakash will return to acting by playing the role of his father K. Raghavendra Rao in NTR biopic.

Director Kovelamudi Prakash, son of legendary director K. Raghavendra Rao, is all set to make his comeback in acting. Prakash who debuted as a lead actor with the film, Neetho and Morning Raaga (2004), subsequently went on to make his directorial debut.

Almost after 14 years, Prakash is making a comeback to acting. He will be seen in the role of his father K. Raghavendra Rao in the NTR biopic, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Director K. Raghavendra Rao (KRR) and NTR shared a great camaraderie, and the former directed the latter in several blockbusters. Since KRR has a significant role to play in NTR’s cinematic journey, the film unit has been searching for a suitable cast to play KRR.

They eventually zeroed in on none other than his son Kovelamudi Prakash. Interestingly, in this biopic, while Balakrishna plays his father NTR and Kalyanram reprises his father Harikrishna, now Prakash will reprise his father KRR.
