Actor Freddy Daruwala, who has starred in Bollywood films like Holiday, Force 2 and Commando among several others, will be making his Telugu debut as the villain in Touch Chesi Choodu.

Talking about his role in the Ravi Teja-starrer, he shares, “I play the negative lead who belongs to an influential family and does everything unethically. It’s a character that under the influence of power and money loses his moral compass, takes human lives for granted and eventually pays a high price for all his deeds.”

Sharing how he loves Tollywood, Freddy further says, “I've always watched and loved Telugu films and songs, and to work with the people you adore is always great. The experience in this film was very special. Whether action or other scenes, the director has tried to use different techniques and dynamics to elevate the look.”

About the entertainer’s lead actor, Ravi Teja, Freddy says that he is amazingly energetic. “He’s caring and friendly. He's always looking out for newer things and is ready to explore and experiment. That encourages newcomers like us also to take the performance to the next level,” he reveals.

So, while several Bollywood actors are making their Telugu debut, isn’t it challenging for Freddy to carve a niche for himself? “I have my own style of acting and hopefully that’ll reflect in Touch Chesi Choodu. My director Vikram Siri had given me the creative freedom to bring in my own style and that helped me to enhance my performance in the film,” he concludes.
