After the super success of Naveen Polishetty’s debut film, Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, in which he took on a Nellore accent, he will soon be experimenting with another accent in his upcoming film, Jathi Ratnalu, a comic caper to be directed by Anudeep.

Naveen will be seen playing a young man just out of the college, with a discernible Telangana accent.
We’re told the Chhichhore actor wanted to  do something contrasting and nothing close to what he’d done in his last Telugu release, Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya.

“Naveen’s role and accent will surprise the audience. He has even done several costume trials for his part and even went for a makeover, having shed a few kilos to play a role, which is much younger than that of his role in Telugu debut,” says a source with knowledge on the matter.

Jathi Ratnalu is about how three small-town guys (played by Naveen, Priyadarshi and Rahul Ramakrishna), who come to the city and get entangled in a comedy of errors. Do they manage to come out of it clean? You’ll have to watch to film to know.
