Films, web series set for release this week

Though no films of major heroes or superstars lined up for release, we have been seeing 5-6 new films hitting theatres every week. Let us have a look at the new film releases and web series this week.

 

Yashoda

It has been a long time since sensational heroine Samantha acted in Telugu films directly. After Jaanu, the Queen Bee acted in Yashoda directed by Hari and Harish. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Unni Mukundan play other lead roles in the science fiction film.  The action thriller was picturised with the themes of surrogacy and medical mafia based on true life incidents.

Samantha, who is suffering from myositis, completed the dubbing for the film with the saline drip. She also seems to have acted in action scenes, which increased the expectations. Mani Sharma scored the music. Having completed all the works, the film is set to be released on November 11.

 

Nacchindi Girlfriend

Nacchindi Girlfriend starring Uday Sankar as the protagonist is also slated for release on November 11. Sankar had acted in ‘Aatagadara Siva’ and ‘Mismatch’ movies earlier. Guru Pawan directed the movie produced by Atluri Narayana Rao. The story is based on incidents happening from dawn to dusk in a day, with suspense and thrilling turn of events making it more interesting for the audience. The love story will give a completely different experience for the viewers.

 

Madhi

Sriram Nimmala and Richa Joshi were paired up for Madhi, directed by Naga Dhanush and produced by Ramkishan. Music was rendered by PVR Raja. The film team said that the movie, scheduled for release on November 11, would be a treat not just to the youth but people of all ages.

 

Unchayi

Unchayi is another film to get released on November 11, with popular actors Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Neena Gupta, Parineeti Chopra, playing lead roles. Producer-director Suraj Barjatya, known for his engaging love stories and family entertainers, is helming the film.
