Venkatesh's Saindhav Must Collect This Amount to Break Even
With seasoned star Venkatesh turning an action hero in his upcoming film "Saindhav", it looks like distributors have shown some interest to procure the film for a good price. "The film has to garner Rs 40 cr gross collections to break even across the world, " says a source. He claims that it was bought for Rs 19 crore in two Telugu states. "It was sold for Rs 2 crore in rest of India. Besides Rs 4 crores from overseas market. The
movie needs to garner Rs 26 crores net collections which is around Rs 40 crores gross worldwide to break even and emerge as a clean winner, " he points out.
Venkatesh is banking on emotional drama in the film to retain audience interest and also pull in masses in remote areas by flexing his muscles in varied action sequences.."Venkatesh scores high when he dons self piteous roles. He is a good actor and bound to impress as doting father, 'he concludes.
