A new-age thriller!

Nizar Shafi, known for his cinematographic participation in hit films like Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Mahanubhavudu, and Nenu Local among others, has turned director with his forthcoming film Seven.

Nizar cited his command over the script of the genre — investigative thriller — as his primary reason to have chosen the movie as his first directorial. “From whatever I’ve learnt as a cinematographer, I believe that I will be able to do full justice to the visual treatment of a film like Seven,” he said. The film is essentially a story about Karthik, who bears a criminal record for cheating on women.

“Apart from the film’s gripping screenplay, it’s the twists and turns in its storyline that guarantee to keep the audience on the edge of the seat throughout. Further, Havish has done a commendable job as the protagonist.  The best part of the film will be its racy pace. We’re quite pleased by the response that the recently released trailer has received, so we’re planning to release the film on June 5”, Nizar added.

Produced by Ramesh Varma,  the film also stars Regina Cassandra, Aditi Arya, and Nandita Sweta in key roles.  The film is currently in post-production.
