Initially, when the lockdown was announced in the last week of March, just like everyone, Nabha Natesh too thought that it would be lifted in a couple weeks. However, as the country nears its 50th day of lockdown, Nabha says that staying positive is the way forward.

“I was okay with the first phase of lockdown; later, as it kept on extending, I just couldn’t wait to get back to work. This is something unprecedented! But unfortunately, with no one clear about how it is going to be, I am just hoping that things will improve soon,” explains Nabha.

The iSmart Shankar actress says that the pandemic has pushed people to behave slightly better. “For instance, there’s literally no air and noise pollution because of this lockdown; looks like we have taken nature for granted, becoming ignorant about it,” she adds.

Presently, Nabha has been learning painting, sketching and cooking, she tells us. She has also enrolled for a MasterClass online, but she is surely disappointed about her films being pushed back.

“Two of my films, Solo Brathuke So Better and Alludu Adhurs, were supposed to release back-to-back in May but have been pushed back now. Having put in a lot of hard work, we were all waiting for the audiences to see these films, but nature seems to have had other plans,” laments the actress.

Then telling us that she’ll be seen in entertaining roles in both the films, she reiterates how frustrating it is for her to be amid such uncertainty. “The best way to deal with the situation is to accept the reality and move on,” and then, pointing out to another predicament, she exclaims, “Imagine the producers’ plight in this scenario.”
