TIRUPATI: Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma visited producer Rakesh Reddy’s home in Palamaneru of Chittoor district to discuss his upcoming film Lakshmi’s NTR on Tuesday. Rakesh Reddy, apart from being a producer and a businessman, is also a coordinator for the YSRC in Palamaneru.

Speaking to media persons, RGV said, “There is no hidden political agenda behind the movie. I didn’t even know that Rakesh Reddy was into politics. I came to know about it very recently. As I said earlier, changes in the state and important incidents in NTR’s life began occurring after the entry of Lakshmi Parvathi. NTR’s life is like Mahabharata, with many chapters, but I found the chapter that begins with Lakshmi's entry to be the most interesting.” He said that all the important events in NTR’s life from the entry of Lakshmi Parvathi to his death would be covered in the movie.

He added that he was not afraid of anyone and that nothing could stop him from making the film.

“The movie will go to sets from next February, and it will be released by October next year. Someone asked me if the movie is being released in October as the elections will be close, but it’s not like that. I am not related to any political party.”
