Very recently, actor Ronit Roy began shooting for Jr NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa in Hyderabad. And even as he works on his first ever South Indian film, buzz is that the actor has now been approached to play a key role in another Telugu film, opposite Ravi Teja. The film, a remake of Tamil film Bogan, will be directed by Lakshman, who also directed the original.

“Talks have been initiated with him. It is to be seen if Ronit accepts to do the film because this is a new arena for him and he wants to take things slowly. He is not keen to rush with signing films because he already has a lot going on for him up north. The makers are in no hurry too as Ravi Teja is busy with Raja The Great and Touch Chesi Choodu already. The film is in pre-production now and will go on to the floors only after Ravi Teja completes at least one of the two films,” shares a source. Ronit has no exposure to Telugu films and is still getting used to the set-up. It will be interesting to see if he takes up more projects in the language anytime soon.
