Hindi was a challenge: Prabhas
There is a lot of money invested in the films from my friends, and I don’t like it.
The trailer of the much-awaited multi-lingual film, Saaho was launched in Mumbai recently, in the presence of the entire star cast and crew. From the lead actors, Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor, to director Sujeeth, all were present at the launch. At the event, Prabhas took the stage to address the media and revealed that he was nervous about interacting with the media. “I am really very nervous, but I hope everybody likes the trailer. More than the nervousness of the trailer release, I am nervous to answer the queries of the media,” he said. As the interaction began, the actor shared that dubbing for his character in Hindi was an uphill battle. “I can read and write in Hindi but we don’t speak Hindi at home, so it was difficult to manage.” He further added that coming out of his four-year Baahubali phase was difficult too. “Coming out of that was not easy. We took two years to make this film, and my fans will kill me for that,” he said. Though he did not want to take so long to make Saaho, he said that it was the action sequences that took a long time to complete. However, the actor vowed in front of the audience that he will do two films a year from here on.
“There is a lot of money invested in the films from my friends, and I don’t like it. But now onwards I will do two films a year,” the Baahubali star said.
