Once an actor signs a film, its production team ensures that every small need of his is taken care of until the end. In fact, the production house appoints several assistants for a lead actor as well as other team members.
However, when it comes to Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is presently doing a film directed by K.S. Ravikumar, under the production of C. Kalyan, it is learnt that production assistants are afraid to work with the actor because of his bad behaviour. “After an assistant was slapped at the launch of the film, many are scared to work with him. A few people have even left the company after they were asked to work with the actor and it is quite difficult to find new people,” says a source from the production team.
In recent times, many instances of the actor losing his temper and slapping people have been reported. However, producer C. Kalyan, denying all the reports, says, “I am very comfortable working with him and there is no problem at all.” He added that there is nothing wrong in the actor getting angry with an assistant if he repeats a mistake.
“If you look at any actor or actress at public events, you find several bouncers around them. Balakrishna never goes along with a bouncer. Bouncers are rude and they sometimes even manhandle. Without a bouncer, Balakrishna also does the same thing when the crowd gets closer to him,” explains the producer.
