Actor Vijay Sai commits suicide
The comic actor had reportedly hit a low following his personal and professional troubles.
Actor Vijay Sai, who appeared in several comic roles in the past, with his most famous roles being in films like Allari, Bommarillu and Ammayilu Abbayilu, committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his Yousufguda residence on Monday morning.
While the reasons for his death are unknown, it is being speculated that he wasn’t getting enough work in the movies, apart from some personal issues with his wife.
A source close to the actor reveals, “Vijay was obviously quite low because very few offers were coming in over the last two years. Nothing was really working out for him professionally. But the main source of mental pressure was his separation from wife Vanitha Reddy, also an actress, a few years ago. He was separated from his daughter too since then, and had been receiving monetary demands from his wife.”
Despite being known for his strong comic timing and unique body language, Vijay never really managed to make a mark in the industry and his career never went to the next level.
Since the news of his death broke out, condolences have been pouring in from his friends in the industry.
