Manjula Ghattamaneni, daughter of yesteryear superstar Krishna, is all set to make her directorial debut with the film Manasuku Nachindi. “I know the film is going to be liked by everyone because the story came straight from my heart and I liked it very much,” says Manjula. She further goes on to say, “I am going to be one of the most happening directors that Telugu cinema has ever seen.” But is quick to add, “I am sorry, I am sounding overconfident. Please bear with me because I am confident about my film.”
Thanking producer Gemini Kiran for coming forward to do this film, she says, “He bore all my directorial tantrums and supported me. I got good cast like Sundeep Kishan, who is a spontaneous actor. He is totally different and I was shocked when I saw his performance. I am lucky have him as my lead actor.”
Notably, the first look of the film was released on Tuesday by senior director K. Raghavendra Rao along with Manjula’s father Krishna. During the event, she announced that the film was complete and slated for a January 26 release.
