1.3 crore on a song in Kanchana 3!
According to a source from the unit, the makers have spent a whopping Rs 1.3 crore on a song from the movie.
Actor-turned-director Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana 3 is releasing in Telugu and Tamil. Tagore Madhu, who has bought the film’s theatrical rights for release in Telugu, seems upbeat about the film’s potential for success.
“I don't think anybody in India so far has managed to come up with four parts to a film. Raghava Lawrence is the first one to have made it happen, at least in South India,” says Madhu. He added that although the earlier parts of the film were super successful, he is fairly confident that this one’s going to do better than the previous ones.
According to a source from the unit, the makers have spent a whopping Rs 1.3 crore on a song from the movie.
“Its video took six days to film. Nearly 1,400 junior artistes have been featured in the song, of which 400 appear in Aghori get-ups and form the highlight of the song,” said the source.
Lawrence, who also happens to be an ace choreographer, has personally taken care of the choreography in the music video. Additionally, Tagore Madhu believes that Lawrence has stepped up his acting game in this film. Sounds like Kanchana 3 is going to be one hell of a ride!
