Shouldering an entire film!
Satyam Rajesh believes that his forthcoming film Vishwamithra will truly showcase his versatility.
In a career spanning more than 15 years, Satyam Rajesh has acted in several films as a supporting cast. And while the suspense thriller Kshanam took his career to the next level, the actor believes that his forthcoming film Vishwamithra will truly showcase his versatility.
“I play an innocent cabbie in the film but my character has many shades to it, including a cunning smile which I put on in many instances throughout the film. The role has challenged me a fair bit as an actor, and I am pleased with the way the film has shaped up,” Rajesh explained.
The actor, who is playing a lead role for the first time in his career, believes that carrying an entire film on one’s shoulders is a tough task. “The director initially thought of casting a star hero for the role, but eventually trusted me enough to pull it off,” he revealed, adding, “I was initially apprehensive whether I would be able to do justice to the plot, but my director Raaj Kiran supported me throughout and said that I could do it, which took me all the way.”
