X-men, Fast and Furious stunt choreographer to work on Mohanlal's Randamoozham
Mohanlal will play Bheema in the film, an adaptation of MT Vasudevan Nair's novel, directed by V.A. Shrikumar.
As the Rs 1000 crore multilingual film, Mahabharata gets ready, the film’s director V.A. Shrikumar, is busy with pre-production. The film goes on to the floors sometime in early 2018.
The latest development is that Hollywood action director Lee Whittaker has been roped in to be a part of the film.
Confirming the same, Shrikumar shared a picture with the action director and wrote, “It was incredible to meet one of Hollywood’s top action directors, Lee Whittaker for the initial discussions of ‘Mahabharata Randaamoozham’, the Movie! An action packed Mahabharata Randaamoozham is likely to see the mastery of Lee Whittaker, one of the top stunt performers in the industry with two decades of elite work on some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbuster films. While there have been several versions of the epic Mahabharata made on the silver screen, this particular movie will be something new and told from Bheema’s point of view. The movie is based on the novel Randamoozham, and will see Mohanlal play Bheema. The director is currently finalising the final cast and crew, and an official announcement is awaited.
