AP Education Minister Ghanta's son's debut film launched!
Jayanth Paranjee will be making a comeback in Telugu cinema with Kalahasti, an action thriller.
Ravi Ghanta, son of AP Education Minister Ghanta Srinivasa Rao, is making his debut as an actor with Jayanth C. Paranjee's Kalahasti. The movie, that was launched on Thursday morning, marks the comeback of Jayanth, whose last film Theenmaar was released in 2011.
Jayanth had directed a Kannada movie in the meanwhile but the Telugu film industry has been feeling the lack of his presence since quite some time.
Ravi Ghanta expressed happiness about his debut with a movie with Jayanth. “I am very lucky that my debut film is directed by an esteemed director such as Jayanth,” says Ravi.
“This is a realistic story and I feel it is the perfect launch for Ravi. I am very happy to introduce him as the lead actor. Kalahasti is an action thriller, even though the title of the film may not sound like one,” says Jayanth, adding that the shooting will take place in Visakhapatnam and Kalahasti in two schedules.
Jayanth is a hit-maker who has produced movies like Preminchukundaam Raa, Premante Idhera, Takkari Donga, Eeshwar and Lakshmi Narasimha and hopes that this film too will bring him and the debutante actor success.
