Many filmmakers have decided to postpone the release of their films due to the ongoing currency confusion. According to a source, the release of Dhruva starring Ram Charan and Rakul Preet is also going to be postponed by a week or two.
“Allu Aravind, the producer of the film is thinking of postponing this film as smaller denominations are not fully available. As this is a big release, they need good openings. He is planning to release the film once normalcy is restored in the state,” says the source.
The film, directed by Surender Reddy, was slated for release on December 2, but is now likely to hit the screens on December 9 or 16, as the makers are in no hurry.
